Another asbestos-lined vessel is heading for the western Indian ship-breaking yard in Alang, the environmental group Greenpeace says. The Blue Lady was originally named the SS France, and later the SS Norway. It has more than 900 tonnes of toxic waste, Greenpeace says. The ship was banned from Bangladeshi breaking yards in February. In the same month, France called the asbestos-lined carrier, the Clemenceau, following widespread protests in India.
