Technip has scooped a lumpsum turnkey contract from Agip for development work on the Oyo field offshore Nigeria.

The workscope includes the engineering, fabrication and installation of some 20 kilometers of flexible production, water injection and gas injection flowlines and risers as well as the installation of 15 kilometers of umbilicals.

Offshore installation is scheduled for the summer of 2009 and will be carried out by Technip’s Constructor pipelay and construction vessel.

The Oyo field is located off the coast of Nigeria in Block OML 120/121, at water depths up to 410 meters.

The flexible flowines and risers for the contract will be fabricated at Technip’s Le Trait plant in France.

The award of the deal follows the execution of the ABO and ABO extension projects by Technip in Nigeria.
