On May 7, Heerema Marine Contactors (HMC) added a new barge to their fleet, the H-406.
The H-406, which was built in China, has a length of 122 m, width 36.6 m, depth 7.6 m and a lightship weight of 4,000 t.
The new barge joins HMC’s fleet, consisting of the barges H-114, H-122, H-302, H-404, H-405, H-541, H-627, and H-851, the tugs Husky and Retriever, and the deepwater construction vessels Thialf, Hermod and Balder.
