MV ITAL ONORE which is managed by Hansa Shipping GMBH & CO.KG, Germany was smoothly repaired by CIC Lixin Shipyard at its Donggou Branch in mid June of 2011. The work scope included general drydocking work, the renewal of engine Room pipe, valves and cargo hold cell guide etc. During that period, it was rainy season in Shanghai, which brought great difficulty to fulfill the repair work.
While the shipyard overcame all the difficulties, made the proper arrangement, and speeded up the repair progress, so that the repair project was finally finished 1 day earlier than the contracting schedule. The superintendent Mr. Sieghard Danschke was quite satisfied with the repair quality and the performance of the shipyard.
Due to the good impression on MV ITAL ONORE, its sister vessel ITAL OCEANO (LOA: 210, moulded width: 32.24) was also awarded to CIC Shipyards. Presently this vessel is been repaired smoothly by CIC Changxing Shipyard.
