M.V. “Morning Glory” is an Aframax oil tanker managed by a well-known large tanker company in Greece. Founded in 1991, she mainly manages oil/chemical tankers, with total 5,000,000DWT. The company was described as “epitomizing the modernization of the Greek tanker industry” by Lloyd’s List in 2005.

The main work scope for “Morning Glory” was the routine docking survey, about 60 tons steel renewal and 6000 m2 ballast water tanks derusting and painting and etc.

During the repair period at CIC Changxing Shipyard, the repair work for ballast water tank was impacted greatly by the high temperature. However, the business headquarters of CIC and CIC Changxing Shipyard coordinated together and made joint efforts to fulfill the repair within the requested period with intensive arrangement & organization and obtained owners’ trust which has provided a solid foundation for future cooperation.
