Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) signed a technical agreement with French engineering company Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) at the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard. The agreement will allow N-KOM to enhance its range of services and provide membrane tank servicing for liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers repaired in the shipyard.
N-KOM, a joint- venture between Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) and Keppel Offshore & Marine, has been designed with optimal flexibility to undertake the entire spectrum of repair works, conversion and construction for a wide range of marine and offshore vessels. With its strategic location at the doorstep of LNG terminals in Ras Laffan Industrial City, N-KOM has completed over 20 repairs for LNG carriers alone since starting operations.
