To enable fast turnaround and installation times on quality fendering systems, Trelleborg Marine Systems has launched a new service to deliver and install floating foam or pneumatic fenders within days to any location in Europe.

Richard Hepworth, managing director at Trelleborg Marine Systems said: “In addition to supplying high quality rubber, foam and pneumatic fenders for permanent installation, we recognized the market need for equally high quality temporary applications. Pneumatic and foam fenders provide an ideal solution for semi-permanent operations as they’re easy to deploy and require minimal maintenance.”

Rental is a highly cost effective solution for temporary applications and Trelleborg’s new foam and pneumatic rental service offers a wide range of products. With strategically located centres across Europe, fendering products can be delivered and installed quickly, often within days.

Pneumatic Fenders are known for their massive energy absorption, and have a low reaction force that makes them an ideal ship protection medium for LNG vessels, ocean platforms, floating structures, large docks and many load sensitive structures.

Foam Fenders are extremely resilient and due to a unique manufacturing process have a high energy absorption for their reactive load. They can be used for almost any fendering application including ship-to-ship and can be floating or dock mounted.

Trelleborg Marine Systems will also provide a full end-to-end service to ensure that full support is given from installation through to after sales care. Local presence means that ports can be sure of expert advice and local knowledge when they need it.
