Post Workboats has developed a unique Tornado RIB with water jet propulsion especially for the offshore and the wind farm industry. ‘It is the first time that such a RIB has been equipped with water jets’, says entrepreneur Klaas Post.
“Post Workboats” is the biggest company for the rental of Ribs in the Netherlands. A Rib (rigid-inflatable boat) is a lightweight but high-performance and high-capacity boat constructed with a solid, shaped hull and flexible tubes at the gunwale. Ribs perform under the most extreme conditions. Therefore they are used in a wide range of activities like: rescue, offshore, security, sports organization and as surveillance boats for e.g. police and “Rijkswaterstaat”.
All the KNRM boats are also built according to the Rib principle.
