KM Electronics Ltd announced creation of dedicated WFSV and Workboat support subsidiary.

The company also informed that Steve Smith, formerly of eTech Group, has joined its team.

Steve’s more recent work history includes supervising the electrical fit out of the first dozen or so Gardline AliCat wind farm support vessels. He has also been involved in the maintenance and upgrading of many of the eTech based South Boats.

Prior to windfarm vessels, Steve has spent a large portion of his career in the marine industry working on everything from military hovercrafts to super yachts to bulk carriers.

Steve will be working within KME Systems Ltd, which will now be dedicated to WFSV’s and workboats, both new build and the support of existing vessels.

Its operation area is currently Wells in Norfolk, to Dover in Kent, with Europe wide support of vessels.
