Amphora Inc., a leading software solutions provider of energy trading, risk management (ETRM) and logistics, announces the launch of the new Symphony FREIGHT module ‘Freight Estimator’.
Symphony FREIGHT is a maritime transportation management system, giving businesses complete control of their freight management throughout the whole logistical process.
With the launch of the new Symphony FREIGHT module ‘Freight Estimator’, users can calculate cargo break even rates and define complete ‘what-if’ scenario evaluations. ‘Freight Estimator’ will evaluate the deviation impact and perform stress testing against different scenarios to estimate potential losses.
“ The ‘Freight Estimator’ gives operators the opportunity to take better freight management business decisions, to maximize the efficiency and manage their operational risks more effectively ,” noted Peter Carlile, President of Amphora – EMEA.
With the new ‘Freight Estimator’ companies can speed up their decision making and focus on what really matters – effective freight management.
