On Tuesday 5th of March last m.v. Volgaborg has been launched at Shipyard Ferus Smit at Westerbroek.
The Volgaborg, having following dimensions: l.o.a. 142.65 mtr., beam 15.87 mtr., deadweight 12.000 tons, hold volume 503.500 cft., is the third unit in a series of ships to be built for Royal Wagenborg. These ships are the biggest ever launched at the Ferus Smit Westerbroek location and along the Winschoterdiep.
The Volgaborg will be equipped with a main engine delivering 2970 kW to a ducted propeller. The delivery is said to be end of this month.
