Uljanik shipyard and Jadrolinija from Rijeka signed, on March 4th, a Contract for the construction of four ferries for the transportation of 600 passengers and 145 vehicles.
The vessel’s length overall will be 100 m, breadth of 17.5 m, draught 2.4 m, deadweight at maximum draught 950 tonnes and speed 12.5 knots.
The total value of the contract is € 32 mln (approx $ 41.6 mln) and the delivery terms are in the period from February until the end April 2014.
