On Mar. 20th, 2013, a delegation of the Qingdao Enterprise Institute, led by the chairman of the Entrepreneurs association Mr. Wu Jingjian, together with some executive directors visited Qingdao Qiyao Wartsila MHI Linshan Marine Diesel Co., Ltd (QMD).
QMD’s CFO, Mr. Lin Jianting guided the tour to the workshops of QMD and presented the production and management situation to the delegation. The delegation group commended on QMD’s advanced facilities along with its production management mechanism and emphasized its importance in developing Qingdao’s Blue Economy.
QMD is licensed to use Wärtsilä and MHI product design, technology and management to produce, assemble, test and sell marine diesel engines of RT-flex and UEC series, with cylinder bore of 500mm-960mm.
