Qatar to Supply Five Free Cargoes of LNG to Egypt

Qatar, the world’s largest LNG producer, will supply Egypt with free five shipments of LNG to help Egypt with its fuel demand over the peak summer period, the Egyptian Petroleum Ministry revealed in a statement.

“ Qatar will supply five cargoes of liquefied natural gas as a gift to the Egyptian people during the summer months, with the first of these shipments beginning at the end of July (and continuing) until mid-September ,” Qatar’s Energy and Industry Minister Mohamed bin Saleh al-Sada said.

The statement from the Ministry did not give the size of the LNG shipments.
