The Lambada Spirit and the Nova Spirit, two of Teekay Corporation’s new Samba Class shuttle tankers, will officially be named this week.
The four suezmax-size DP2 shuttle tankers are being constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea.
Upon delivery in mid- to late-2013, the vessels will commence operations under 10-year time-charters for BG in Brazil.
