The Naval Shipyard Gdynia S.A. has started the overhaul of bulk carrier “Krempertor” of the German Shipowner Reederei Erwin Strahlman.
The scope of overhaul works will include among other things washing, sandblasting and painting of the hull, survey of overboard discharge valves.
Furthermore, it is planned to exchange elements of longitudinal bulkhead in the hold, small maintenance works in ballast tanks, measurement and maintenance of anchor cables, seals renewal as well disassembly, maintenance and assembly of propeller shaft. The overhaul will last approximately 10 days.
