On September 29, before the National Day of the People’s Republic of China, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Dingnong visited Afai Southern Shipyard to inspect work activities and extend holiday greetings to all the staff through the management leadership.
Having been briefed about Afai’s business development, safety production, management systems, information management and staff training situation, Mr. Dingnong pointed out that: Afai is facing tough market conditions, along with existing bottle-neck. What is more, according to him, Afai needs to attach great importance to problems of management and lack of resources and undertake countermeasures, pursuing a step by step method when it comes to contracting subsequent shipbuilding projects.
After signing the contracts, pressure is always coming, therefore, special attention should be put on guaranteeing performance of the Brazilian project, as well as reducing the risks of foreign exchange and shipment, all with the aim of achieving the intended targets.
Representatives of Science & Technology & Information Department of China Shipping (Group) Company accompanied Mr. Dingnong during the tour.
