COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited announced today that COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd (COSCO Guangdong) has delivered a bulk carrier of 57,000 DWT, the “GREENER”, to its Asia n buyer.
The delivery documents were signed by COSCO Guangdong and the buyer recently. The bulk carrier measures 189.99 meters in LOA, 32.26 meters in breadth and 18 meters in depth.
COSCO Corporation has one of the largest ship repair, shipbuilding and offshore marine engineering operations in China. The completion of its acquisition of a 51% stake in one of the largest shipyards in China, COSCO Shipyard Group (COSCO Shipyard),on 1 January 2005, propelled COSCO into the premier league in the shipbuilding industry.
