Imabari Shipbuilding Ltd. has completed the take over of the Koyo Dockyard Co., Ltd.
As a result of the merger, ex-Koyo Dockyard had to change its name to Hiroshima Shipyard of Imabari Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The shipyard specializes in building chemical tankers made of stainless steel. The knowledge and processing technology of the yard concerning stainless steel surpasses all other Japanese shipbuilders.
Imabari Shipbuilding continues to strengthen the company quality, stabilize the management foundation and promote the efficient operation through consolidation of its resources.
