SAL Heavy Lift has added MV Calypso and MV Amoenitas Type 116 ships to its fleet to serve clients with lift requirements of up to 900 mtons.

Both vessels are equipped with two 450 mton cranes, and have the highest ice class.

The first voyages of both ships have already been booked.

MV Amoenitas left Masan, South Korea, and has set course to the Black Sea port of Mangalia in Romania carrying a cargo of engines.

On the way there, the vessel made a port call in China to load three tugs, which were discharged in Myanmar.

MV Calypso has loaded project cargo in Thailand, to be delivered to the United States in August.
