Peru LNG on way to Mexico

Peru’s only LNG export facility shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo to Mexico on Monday. The cargo is being hauled by the Barcelona Knutsen, a 173,400 cbm tanker, and it is sailing to the Manzanillo import terminal. Peru’s only LNG export facility shipped a liquefied natural gas cargo to Mexico on Monday.

The cargo is being hauled by the Barcelona Knutsen, a 173,400 cbm tanker, and it is sailing to the Manzanillo import terminal.

The liquefaction plant in Pampa Melchorita has exported 231 cargoes since its startup in June of 2010, according to Perupetro data.
