Japan set to receive LNG cargo from Qatar

Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, is expected to receive another cargo of the chilled fuel from Qatar this month. Japan, the world’s largest LNG importer, is expected to receive another cargo of the chilled fuel from Qatar this month.

The 135,420 cbm Zekreet departed from the Ras Laffan Port today and it is due to arrive at the Yokkaichi LNG terminal on October 30, shipping data shows.

The Zekreet LNG tanker has five Moss-Rosenberg design spherical tanks and transports LNG from the Qatargas 1 project.
