Singapore-based gas carrier fleet owner and operator Epic Gas has reported that one of its vessels, Epic Bali, was part of a search and rescue operation in the Mediterranean Sea on November 21.
Search and rescue operations involved 5 rescue boats and 4 ships in coordination with the Italian Coast Guard. The crew of Epic Bali rescued 78 migrants, and at least 93 more were rescued by another vessel.
Epic Gas says that there are unconfirmed reports of a number of people still missing.
