The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas terminal is scheduled to receive another cargo of LNG from Qatar next week.

According to the shipping data from the Milford Haven Port Authority, the 266,000-cbm Q-max LNG carrier, Umm Slal is due to dock at the South Hook LNG terminal’s jetty on September 8.

This will be the fourth Q-Max in succession to deliver the Qatari cargo to the terminal in a period of two weeks.

Natural gas flows from the South Hook LNG terminal to the UK’s national grid on Thursday morning was at 44.4 mcm per day, according to the data from the National Grid.

The South Hook terminal located on the shores of the Milford Haven waterway is owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total.

The terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
