Danish shipping company, Terntank Rederi informed its two remaining LNG-fueled newbuilds have been named at AVIC Dingheng Shipbuilding in China.

The 15,000 DWT chemical tankers have been named Tern Sea and Tern Ocean, with delivery expected later this year and at the beginning of the next year, Terntank said in its statement.

The first vessel of the quartet, the chemical tanker Ternsund was delivered in June and is serving under its time charter deal with Finnish North European Oil Trade (NEOT) distributing refined oil products from the company’s refinery in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The second chemical tanker named Ternfjord has been delivered earlier this month and it will be deployed in Norway under a time charter deal with ExxonMobil. It is set to distribute refined oil products from ExxonMobil’s refinery in Slagentangen, Norway.
