Shipping company Teekay has inked a five-year frame agreement with MacGregor, part of Cargotec, which includes spare parts, maintenance, training and project support for Teekay’s 115 vessels.
As informed, the deal was signed during the second quarter of 2017.
Under the agreement, MacGregor will provide solutions and services for hatch covers, hose-handling cranes, general-purpose cranes, offshore mooring/loading systems, deck machinery winches, steering gear and compressors on board approximately 115 of Teekay’s vessels.
Established in 1973, Teekay has developed from a regional shipping company into one of the world’s largest marine energy transportation, storage and production companies with diversified assets of USD 12 billion in offshore FPSO/FSO – gas LNG/LPG, conventional – crude/long range product tankers amongst its services.
