Al Ghariya LNG Carrier Scheduled at UK South Hook Next Week

The UK’s South Hook liquefied natural gas import terminal is expected to receive a cargo of LNG on May 26, port data says.

The Al Ghariya LNG carrier, with a capacity of 210,000 cubic metres is transporting the cargo from Ras Laffan, Qatar.

The South Hook terminal can process 15.6 million tonnes of LNG a year and is capable of delivering 21 billion cubic metres of gas a year into the UK’s national transmission system.
