Awilco LNG sells WilPower

Awilco LNG of Norway said it has sold its 1983 built LNG carrier WilPower to an undisclosed buyer.

The 125,000 cbm WilPower has been in cold layup since May 2013, Awilco LNG sad in a statement on Wednesday.

The LNG tanker is expected to be delivered to the buyer in August this year.

According to the statement, the sale will contribute with an estimated loss of USD 3 million in Awilco LNG’s 2015 financial results.
