Interactive Tour: Britain’s Biggest Cruise Ship

The largest ocean cruise ship designed for the British holiday market, Britannia, was christened today (10th March, 2015) by Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II.

The ceremony attracted thousands of visitors at the Ocean Cruise Terminal in Southampton, UK.

At 144,000 gross tons, 330 meters long and 38 meters wide, the giant cruise ship has 1,837 cabins, and it is able to accommodate 4,324 passengers on board, with total capacity of over 5,700 people, including the crew.

Britannia’s maiden voyage is planned to take place between 14 – 28th March 2015, her destinations being Spain, Italy and France.
