MV Hansa Brandenburg Safely Arrives in Port of St Louis (Mauritius)

Shipmanagement Company Leonhardt & Blumberg reported that its container vessel MV “Hansa Brandenburg” has safely berthed in the port of St Louis, Mauritius after required permission from the authorities. Currently preparations are being made to start discharging containers.

“Hansa Brandenburg” suffered from a fire on July 15 when transiting from Singapore to Durban. Experts of Five Oceans Salvage LTD & SMIT Salvage BV consequently extinguished the fire and towed the vessel to Port Louis.

MV “Hansa Brandenburg”, Gross Tonnage 18334, is a 2003 built container vessel with a capacity of 1.740 TEU. She is flying the Liberian flag.
