Peru ships three LNG cargoes to Mexico

Peru’s LNG export facility at Pampa Melchorita dispatched three liquefied natural gas cargoes to Mexico within a seven day period.

The first cargo was sent onboard the 130,000 cbm Galea LNG carrier on November 19, the shipping data from the state-owned Perupetro reveals.

The two other liquefied natural gas carriers, the 135,072 cbm Gallina and the 138,104 cbm Gemmata were loaded and dispatched on November 20, and November 25, respectively.

Galea delivered its cargo to the Manzanillo LNG terminal while the other two vessels are probably heading to the same destination.

With the three latest cargoes, the US$3.8 billion LNG project dispatched 297 vessels since it started operations in June 2010.
