Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos (TPE) is conducting all necessary activities related to the Paita Port development project worth US$150 million.

The preparation works are set to be undertaken in the mid-January to mid-February prior to developing Paita Port in the northern region of Piura.

The Peruvian government has issued all the relevant documents to authorize the beginning of the operations.

Container movement in Paita has reached approximately 150,000 TEU thus the port has registered a considerable growth.

Peru’s TPE intends to construct 300 meters of berth at least 13 meters deep. The Paita Port will have 12 hectares of container yard for quay gantry cranes and yard gantries.
