Petrobras Hires AHTS ‘Normand Titan’

Solstad Offshore ASA (SOFF) has been awarded a new contract by Petrobras for hire of the AHTS “Normand Titan”. The duration of the contract is 4 years and the vessel will start its charter during the 3rd quarter of 2014.

In addition, Petrobras has options to extend the contract with further 4 years, subject to agreement on the commercial terms. The gross value of the firm part of the contract is approx. Nok 400 mill. (circa 66 mil USD)

Solstad Offshore ASA is among the largest offshore- shipping companies in Norway, providing advanced vessels and extensive maritime competence for operations related to the offshore petroleum industry.

The company, headquartered in Skudeneshavn, Norway, operates 46 vessels all over the world and has 3 large subsea vessels under construction.
