UK books more Qatari LNG

The UK’s largest LNG terminal, South Hook, located in the Port of Milford Haven, is expected to receive another cargo of liquefied natural gas from Qatar.

The Q-Max LNG tanker Rasheeda, with the capacity of 266,000 cbm, is scheduled to dock at South Hook LNG jetty on January 18, port data says.

The vessel was constructed by Samsung Heavy Industries and delivered to Nakilat in 2010, the same year the South Hook LNG terminal was fully commissioned.

Qatar Petroleum owns 67.5 percent of South Hook LNG terminal, ExxonMobil has a 24.15 percent stake and Total holds the rest.
