It was a hectic last day for the sailors from the Volvo Ocean Race as they attended a final parade in the Race village at 1730 and then had to be front and centre at the main prize giving at 2100.

Parading in overall finish order, the teams ran the gauntlet of cheering crowds, each team led by dancers or a band representing the various ports of the race. There were Brazilian samba dancers
