Every two years the NERC UK/European Moorings Group holds a workshop to discuss developments in the field of scientific moorings. Following on from RS Aqua sponsorship of the 5th meeting at the NOC Southampton in 2010, the company is again sponsoring this most informative gathering.

RS Aqua’s lead sponsorship is supported by MetOcean Data Systems Ltd (Canada) and Nautilus Marine Service GmbH (Germany). The 6th Workshop is being hosted by British Antarctic Survey (BAS) in Cambridge.

The Workshop brings together a diverse range of people from the UK and Europe whose common interest in “scientific moorings” promotes the exchange of experiences, techniques, developments and knowledge.

As lead sponsors, the company granted the opportunity to display some equipment and, at this stage, plan to show the Novatech range of locations beacons, an iSVP drifter buoy (both from MetOcean Data Systems), Vitrovex glass products (Nautilus Marine) and some ADCP units from the Rowe Technologies Inc (USA) range.
