4Subsea Gets Statoil Contract Extension

4Subsea has secured an extension of a framework agreement with Statoil, covering ten installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

The original agreement was signed in 2012 with the duration of four years and an option for additional two years. The agreement has now been extended to June 2018, the company informed.

4Subsea also informed that the scope of work has increased with one additional installation and will be covering the following Statoil installations on the NCS: Statfjord C, Snorre A, Snorre B, Gullfaks A, Veslefrikk, Volve, Visund, Oseberg A, Troll B, Troll C and Norne.

According to the press statement, the contract also includes support to develop inspection and maintenance programs, failure investigations, systems for annulus vent gas monitoring AMOSTM, and repair solutions.
