The naming ceremony took place at Samsung Heavy Industries’ Geoje shipyard. The new low-carbon-energy-ready ship is 268 meters long and 43 meters wide.

It is the latest addition to a series of 7,300 TEU vessels powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Other 7,500 TEU containerships include CMA CGM Innovation, CMA CGM Legacy, and CMA CGM Endurance.

To remind, a few weeks ago, CMA CGM welcomed LNG dual-fuel CMA CGM Paraty into the fleet built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC).
