Are you ready to take your procurement skills to the next level? For its German projects Damen Naval has founded a small innovative organisation in Hamburg and due to expanding of that team we are looking for an experienced Tactical Purchaser.

As Tactical Purchaser at Damen Naval, you will play a crucial role within one or more project teams, guided by our Project Manager Procurement. Your mission? To efficiently procure products, materials, services, and outsourcing activities in alignment with project objectives and timelines. As Tactical Purchaser, you need to have:

• Technical bachelor degree or similar, preferably with certified procurement trainings or willingness to enrol in such trainings.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a technical environment, with a strong background in procurement.
• Exceptional negotiation skills, combined with assertiveness and a self-directed, well-organized approach.
• Proficiency in both German and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent antecedents because a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
• Permanent multiyear EU citizenship combined with permanent EU work visa are all requirements of the recruitment process for viable candidates, given the military nature of clients and projects.
