        Company profile

        General

ForestWave Navigation is a young shipping company active in the maritime sector, operating a fleet of 35 seagoing multi-purpose vessels, carrying all kind of (bulk) dry cargo and project cargoes.
These vessels have a cargo carrying capacity ranging from 4.000 to 12.500 tons and sail the seas around Europe, West Africa, and the Americas.
We are proud to offer technical ship management and commercial management (chartering) for our vessels (and those of third parties). We currently provide technical ship management for 22 of our own vessels (a nice mix of new and older tonnage) and chartering for in total 35 vessels.
We have grown extremely fast; from two owned vessels and 5 people in the office in 2011 to today 22 owned vessels and 49 people in our offices. In the coming years we will continue to grow steadily, also because of our newbuilding program.
The aforementioned 49 people in the office work at our offices in the Netherlands (Groningen and Breda), England and Spain. We also have continuously over 250 seafarers on board of our vessels. We are proud to distinguish ourselves from other colleague shipping companies in our sector by having a very modern and diverse fleet of ships.

        Company culture

We are a young and internationally oriented company, no-nonsense and 24/7.

        Technical Department

The Technical Department now consists of seven people: the Technical Director, one Purchaser, 4 Superintendents and a Marine Quality Inspector. They are responsible for the procurement and technical management of the 22 vessels, which we have in ship management. They are in daily contact with our ships.
