A continuous dedication to comprehensive improvement marks a path towards new maritime state of the art designs.

Kattupalli Shipyard is being developed by L&T at Kattupalli village near Ennore of Chennai. Expected to be commissioned in January 2012, it will become the third major international destination for ship repairs in the region. The Kattupalli yard is mainly being built for making specialized ships, such as large-size warships, car carriers, submarines, naval offshore patrol vessels, fast patrol vessels and corvettes. The first ship is planned to be launched from this shipyard by the end of 2012.
