China: SF Shipyard Delivers Second 16.900 DWT Bulk Carrier to POLSTEAM

In the afternoon of March 16th, the delivery documents for No.2 16.900 DWT Bulk Carrier (HULL NO.:SF080102 ) were signed in the Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co. Administrative Office Building. The vessel was the second one among 8 sister vessels contracted with POLSTEAM by Sanfu shipyard and is classed by ABS.

The vessel has a single screw motor ship with B type freeboard, fitted with one controlled pitch left-handed propeller driven by low speed diesel engine 5S50MC-C, suitable for operation on heavy fuel oil up to 700 cSt at 50℃. The ship has five cargo holds, engine room and accommodation aft, transom stern, bulbous bow, raked stem, one streamlined rudder with Costa Buld and one bow thruster 600kW. The ship is designed and built in accordance with the rules requirements and under survey of the ABS and the Class Notation equivalent to 100A1 Bulk Carrier, BC=A, ESP, IWS, LI, Ice Class 1C, BWMP(S or S + F); LMC, UMS, SCM, NAV1.
