BLRT Grupp Celebrates 100-Year Anniversary

Industrial holding BLRT Grupp, which is celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year, is happy to greet all its present and future partners at one of the biggest maritime industry exhibitions – SMM 2012.

The holding takes part in the exhibition for the 9th time. “This time, we have good reason to call the holding the lifeguard of ships – our specialists can now offer quality services of the vessel’s full life-cycle: design and engineering, shipbuilding, ship-repair, conversion, modernization, and utilization,” said Fjodor Berman, Chairman of the Board.

The list of projects successfully delivered by the holding includes, among others, the world’s largest gas ferry „Boknafjord“, as well as environmentally friendly eco tugs „Gaia“ and „Geo“. Soon, the list will be completed by fishing vessel „Gitte Henning“, and dredging vessel „Macuti”. In modernization, the holding has reached such high level of service that it was able to execute the broad spectrum of works on “Ship of the Year 2010” – „Skandi Aker”.
