Kherson Shipyard Delivers River-Sea Tanker SVL Unity

Kherson Shipyard of Ukraine and SVL recently signed the Delivery and Acceptance Documents for the third river-sea tanker of the Project RST27, the SVL Unity.

The vessel, developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (MEB), is intended for the sea and combined river-sea transportation of crude oil and oil products, including petrol, without limitation as to flashpoint, with provision of simultaneous transportation of two cargo grades.

The overall length of the vessel is 140.85 m, its breadth 16.86 m and depth 6 m. Capacity of the vessel’s six cargo tanks and two slop tanks is 8100 cum. While at sea its deadweight amounts to 6.980 tons at a draft of 4.20 m, in river at a draft of 3.60 m, the vessel’s deadweight is 5.378 tons, service speed being 10 knots.
