Pemex Orders Two Accommodation Vessels

Mexico’s state-run oil company Pemex has ordered two accommodation vessels from the PMI Group.

PMI’s Navantia and Barreras shipyards in Spain will construct the vessels. The construction of the ship will bring over 1 million working hours for Navantia, which means activity for 30 months.

The vessels  will be used for the accommodation of personnel working on the oil platforms. The vessels will be able to accommodate 700 people each, and will have a dynamic positioning capability.

Vessels particulars: Length, 131,2 m; Beam 27 m; Weight: 7000 t; Accommodation: 700 people; Dynamic Positioning DP3; Clasification DNV.
