SC Klaipėdos Nafta net profit for the six months of 2014 amounted to LTL 12.7 million (EUR 3.7 million), a 40.7% slump compared to the same period last year.

The company’s sales income during the six months of 2014 amounts to LTL 57.8 million (EUR 16.7 million) or 19.8% down compared to the same period of 2013 when it recorded a LTL 72.1 million (EUR 20.9 million) sales income, stands in the company’s statement.

The company recently called for a public market consultation in order to determine the potential demand of additional LNG services, namely, LNG reload into railway wagons, LNG trucks and LNG bunkering.

This is to inform market participants, who intend to use LNG in Lithuania, the other Baltic states and Poland, that SC Klaipedos Nafta is considering the development of land-based LNG infrastructure – the construction of the LNG terminal in Klaipeda port to provide new services.
