NIGC: Fifty Gas Plans Underway (Iran)

 

The NIGC’s Coordination and Supervision Manager reported of implementation of 50 plans on increasing gas production capacity and gas production stability at the domestic gas processing plants.

Jamshidi Dana who is the Manager of Coordination and Supervision on gas production at the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) noted that 160 plans are currently underway in Iran gas processing plants, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.

It’s worth mentioning that out of the number, 8 plans are related to production capacity building, 42 plans on stability of gas production, 20 optimizing gas consumption plans, 15 plans on environmental issues, 31 training plans and 46 plans on construction.

Underlining self-sufficiency in manufacturing of gas processing plants’ equipments, he said that that establishment of a data bank for spare parts and chemical materials, a data bank of local resources of parts for gas refineries, activating the self-sufficiency committees, providing technical identification for spare parts and holding forums is among the ongoing plans of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC).

Referring to implementation of 40 plans onoptimizing consumption, Jamshidi Dana said foreign exchange saving, falling energy consumption and preventing environmental pollution had been the results of the implementation of the mentioned activities.

He further announced that eleven plans onoptimizing energy consumption and designing another twelve plans are among the other topics on the NIGC’s agenda.
