China: October LNG Imports Rise 55 Percent YoY

China, the world’s biggest energy consumer, imported 1.32 million tons of liquefied natural gas in October, up 55 percent compared to a year earlier, customs data showed.

China’s cumulative imports for the period from January to October reached 11.78 million tons, up 25.2% on year.

The country imported 1.37 million tons of liquefied natural gas in September.
