Gazprom, Shell Talk Cooperation in Oil and Gas Sector

Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee,and Peter Voser, Chief Executive Officer of Royal Dutch Shell held a working meeting today where they discussed the main issues of the bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector, including exploration, extraction, processing, LNG production as well as oil and gas sales in the global energy market.

In particular, the meeting participants looked into the possibility of joint activities as part of the Russian Arctic shelf development as well as deepwater developments in third countries.

In addition, Alexey Miller and Peter Voser addressed the prospects for shale oil exploration and development in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area.
