More delays possible for Hudson River PCB cleanup

Dredging PCBs from the Hudson River could face more delays after officials from the town nearest the cleanup demanded more say in planning the work. “We did not do this for the sake of delay,” said Mark Schachner, legal counsel for Fort Edward, a town of 6,000 people about 185 miles north of the Tappan Zee Bridge. “The town feels that local control and authority are being bypassed.”
